Random album cover 2
The legendary Betha Palmer, and her 1982 release 'Keeping Up with Yesterday'.
I could mess around with these all day.

The coolest bar ever?
No Photoshop trickery this time, just some pics taken last week in the new Ice Bar in Amsterdam. Not the best pics due to camera troubles and a partner with shakier hands than a Torry wino with the DT's, but you get the idea. Every things made out of ice, right down to the glasses. Its not quite inline for becoming my new local, but a drinking experience different from your usual Aberdeen establishments is always welcome. And yes- it was absolutely freezing, hence the silly North Pole type attire.

Winston Amsterdam
http://www.winston.nl/
Just got back from Amsterdam, much needed break after a chaotic year. Stayed at a cool, arty hotel in the RLD called Winston. Each room had been transformed by a different artist, and as a result it was the coolest place i've ever stayed in. The rooms varied from wall to wall fractal graphics with giant robots standing over the beds, to a fetish room complete with leather straps and chains on the bed (!). Cant do this place justice, but heres a little video i found on Youtube showing some of the rooms.
It also had a bar which was very popular with the local crowd as well as residents. Heres a pic of the gents (most surreal) WC's.
